What I do….
As a therapeutically endorsed behavioural optometrist and the director at Mundaring Spectacle Maker, my passion lies in comprehensive vision care.
Since earning my Bachelor of Optometry in 2004, I have continued to build on my expertise, completing a Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics in 2013 and the Australian College of Behavioural Optometrists’ core vision therapy courses in 2018.
My practice encompasses thorough eye examinations for both children and adults, as well as prescriptions for ocular medicines, spectacles, and contact lenses.
I also conduct visual information processing assessments, coloured overlay assessments and colourimetry, myopia control, and neuro-optometry assessments.
Why I love what I do…
Having experienced binocular vision issues and myopia as a child, I know first-hand the challenges that come with impaired vision. My own journey—from wearing spectacles in primary school to contact lenses as a teenager—sparked a deep appreciation for the difference clear sight can make in daily life.
It was my optometrist’s care and guidance that inspired me to pursue this field.
Today, I find great fulfilment in helping others enhance their eye health and vision, knowing just how much it can improve their quality of life.
